Who we are
Clover Cam and clover.camera are provided by Pine Apps LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@clover.camera.
The short version
The app processes camera frames and applies its AI model on your device. We do not receive your photos, videos, audio, or camera frames through the app, and we do not use them to train our models. The current app has no accounts, advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs. Visiting this website or emailing support involves the separate processing described below.
What stays on your device
- Camera and microphone: camera frames are used for the viewfinder, scene calibration, photos, and video. Microphone access is used for audio in video recordings.
- Photos library: with your permission, the app saves photos and videos, displays the media you allow it to access, and lets you share, favorite, or delete selected items. Limited library access is supported.
- Capture details: saved photos can contain camera and lens information, capture time, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, selected style, model version, and other capture settings. These details travel with the original file when you share it.
- Preferences and temporary files: the app stores preferences such as language, appearance, camera settings, and selected look locally. It uses local previews and temporary video files during capture.
- Device orientation: motion signals help orient the camera controls and captures. They are processed locally. The app does not request location permission or create a location history.
Apple services and sharing
If you use iCloud Photos, Apple may sync your library or retrieve an original file from iCloud when you open it in Clover. Your iOS backup settings may also apply to local app data. These services are governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policy. When you choose Share, the selected content is passed to the recipient or service you select; that service’s privacy terms apply. We do not receive a copy through Clover.
When you visit clover.camera
The website is hosted on Vercel. Hosting and security services process technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser and device information, timestamps, and response information to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising pixels or visitor analytics, and the site itself does not set cookies or use browser storage. Hosting security measures may process additional information needed to prevent abuse. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice.
When you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to attach, such as screenshots or diagnostic information. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot, and keep necessary support records. Email delivery and storage also involve email service providers. Please avoid sending photos or personal information that is not needed for your request.
Purposes and legal grounds
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we process support messages to respond to your request and provide support, and process essential website request information for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site. If a specific activity requires consent, we rely on that consent, which you may withdraw. We may retain or disclose information when required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers and international processing
Website hosting and support email providers process the information necessary for those services. Pine Apps LLC is based in the United States, and providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where applicable law requires protections for an international transfer, we use the required safeguards. This does not change the app’s on-device processing of camera media.
Retention and deletion
Your saved photos and videos remain in your Photos library until you delete them. Deleting the app does not delete those library items; iCloud and Recently Deleted follow Apple’s settings. You can delete the app to remove its local app data; device backups may retain copies according to your settings. We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve and follow up on the request, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations. Hosting logs follow the provider’s retention settings. You can ask us to delete support information using support@clover.camera.
Your choices and rights
You can change Camera, Microphone, and Photos access in iOS Settings at any time. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, receive a portable copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact support@clover.camera to exercise applicable rights; we may ask for information needed to verify the request. We cannot access or erase your device’s photo library on your behalf.
Children
Clover is a general-purpose camera and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not create user profiles or send camera media to us. If a child has sent personal information to support and you would like it removed, please contact us.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Privacy contact: support@clover.camera.Pine Apps LLC
